Wedding Venue Open House Gallery | Guide to Treehouse Point Weddings

Ever wonder what it’s like to get married at Treehouse Point? On April 29th, we held our first-ever Wedding Venue Open House, where guests were invited to wander through our property, step inside treehouses, and see the Treehouse Point adorned in florals to imagine their special day. Today, we’re taking you behind the scenes of the event and sharing what a wedding weekend at Treehouse Point can truly feel like.

We held our first-ever Wedding Venue Open House at Treehouse Point, and it was a smashing success! On April 29th, guests were invited to wander through our property, step inside treehouses, and see the Treehouse Point adorned in florals to imagine their special day.

To make the experience even more special, our preferred vendors created booths showcasing their work, while our team transformed some of Treehouse Point's most beloved wedding spaces into celebration-ready scenes.

Throughout the day, couples shared that seeing the venue decorated in person was even more magical than photos could ever capture. We’re thrilled at the prospect of putting on another Open House in 2027 to show more people the magic of weddings at Treehouse Point!

Who We Are

For those who are new here, Treehouse Point is a bed and breakfast tucked into the lush forests of the Snoqualmie Valley. Couples from around the world gather here to exchange vows among the trees and celebrate with their closest family and friends in a setting that feels like fantasy.

When we’re not hosting weddings, elopements, and retreats, we’re welcoming guests to stay a night (or two, or three) in the trees. Guests can book their treehouse stay here.

Throughout this blog, we’ll take you on a behind the scenes journey through the Open House experience, following the same path that guests took as they explored the property. Along the way, we’ll share some details about weddings at Treehouse Point and what they can look like, including what our all inclusive packages look like.

If you’re dreaming of an intimate forest wedding surrounded by treehouses, greenery, and a rushing river… keep reading.

Shuttle Service to Treehouse Point

The journey begins not at Treehouse Point, but at the Preston Park and Ride, less than 5 minutes away. Due to the intimate nature of our venue, the parking lot has a limited capacity for vehicles. Often, couples will hire an ongoing shuttle service for their wedding guests. This fee is included in 2027 wedding packages (excluding micro-wedding and elopement packages).

After arriving via shuttle from the Preston Park and Ride, guests were greeted with a map of the property, a champagne flute, and goodie bags.

Touring the Treehouses

Couples were invited to explore each treehouse and imagine how their friends and family might enjoy a wedding weekend at Treehouse Point. Weddings at Treehouse Point are intimate, usually between 20 and 80 people - and lodging can accommodate up to 22 people total.

The Pond Room:

After exploring the forest, guests stepped into the Pond Room, where cocktail hour and dancing is held for weddings. Attendees were greeted by a beautifully styled dinner table where they could envision their feast taking place.

Party music from our preferred DJ Magnolia Rhapsody played through the speakers, keeping the energy elevated and in good spirits. Some elopement and small wedding couples opt to have their wedding ceremony take place in the Pond Room.

More information about Treehouse Point elopements here.

Delicious catering from Treehouse Kitchen

Bites from Treehouse Kitchen, our preferred vendor for wedding catering, were served as guests mingled. Treehouse Kitchen was founded by members of the Treehouse Point and Nelson Treehouse family, and was created to bring elevated food, rooted in community to guests and wedding celebrations alike.

Throughout the Open House, guests also had the opportunity to learn more about our Inclusive Wedding Packages and how they simplify the wedding planning experience. Treehouse Kitchen offers a curated dining experience, with menu options designed to complement a celebration in the trees. The package includes one entrée, two sides, one salad, and up to three small bite selections.

Beyond catering, we work with our trusted partner One Boss Hospitality to make your inclusive wedding as stress-free as possible. No more worrying about timelines and setup. From florals and rentals to bartending, shuttles, coordination, and service staff, many of the details are thoughtfully handled for you, creating a smoother and more relaxing wedding experience.

Inquire about our inclusive wedding packages here.

Under the Tent Deck

Further along the path, guests arrived at the Tent Deck, one of our most popular dinner locations. The Petal & The Stem transformed the space with lush tropical greenery and a styled tablescape, helping couples envision their dreamy dinner surrounded by friends, family, and nature.

The Lower Lawn

The final stop was the Lower Lawn, where couples exchange vows. Styled for a ceremony, the space allowed guests to imagine walking down the aisle, saying "I do," and beginning their next chapter together in the heart of the forest. We also had our interactive experience vendors on the lower lawn, including a wedding painter and flavored cotton candy cart!

We were thrilled to have several of our preferred vendors join us for the Open House and showcase their work. These talented professionals help bring Treehouse Point weddings to life.

Why You Should Plan a Spring Wedding or Elopement in Washington State

Throughout this blog, find out why spring is an especially enchanting (and smart!) time of year to say “I Do” in western Washington.

If you’re ready to tie the knot but unsure which season to choose for your dreamy forest wedding, consider this your nudge toward spring, the most underrated season in Pacific Northwest!

Throughout this blog, I’ve compiled a list of reasons why spring is an especially enchanting (and smart!) time of year to say “I Do” in western Washington. There are so many magical details that make spring weddings and elopements so unique.

The Forest

The first, and perhaps most important, aspect of a wedding is the location. At Treehouse Point, celebrations are held on our gorgeous forest property, surrounded by towering trees and nestled among our treehouses.

Spring weddings are also known as our “forest fairy weddings” because of how whimsical the property feels during this time of year. While the evergreens stay vibrant year-round, our deciduous plants make their grand return in spring, bringing the rest of the forest to life with color!

Notice how the ferns take on a brilliant shade of green, signaling new growth throughout the property. Flowers, such as the beautiful rhododendron, Washington’s state flower, begin to blossom in gorgeous shades of reds, pinks, and purples.

The Flowers

Our favorite flowers are in full bloom during the springtime! Peonies, tulips, daffodils, sweet peas, spring roses, lily of the valley, and lilacs all make their appearance, offering endless inspiration for bouquets that feel lush and beautiful.

Imagine your enchanting wedding dinner with each table featuring a beautiful floral centerpiece like this for your guests.

Take advantage of spring’s natural abundance and cut costs by choosing your favorite in-season dream florals.

Feel inspired by this whimsical arbor, adorned with fresh, hanging roses!

We adore these beautiful roses placed delicately on a spring elopement cake.

3. The Weather

Spring in Washington State is ever-changing in the most romantic way. Some days feel moody and overcast, wrapping the venue in that classic Pacific Northwest charm, while others are bright and sunlit, bringing the colors of spring to life.

Temperatures are mild, which makes the season perfect for outdoor ceremonies tucked beneath the trees or by the river.

Picture you and your one true love posing for romantic portraits down by the river.

If rain does threaten to make an appearance, we have cozy indoor options like the Pond Room, or a collection of charming umbrellas for a cinematic moment on the lawn.

Western Washington is known for its gentle drizzle, but it’s rare for the sky to turn dark with a heavy storm. These soft, rainy moments feel the most romantic.

This photo was taken in late January, but I had to include a moody umbrella shot so you could see it in action. Now imagine the same scene bathed in the soft glow of a springtime forest. Utterly magical.

The Advantages of Good Timing

Early spring is often considered the “off season,” but we like to think of it as one of the Pacific Northwest’s best-kept secrets.

Booking in early spring offers more flexibility in securing your ideal wedding date and vendor team, as it’s a quieter time of year for bookings.

Spring also brings clear, crisp air and bright, sunny days, with fewer bugs than in the height of summer.

These are the woodland paths you’ll follow to spend your wedding night tucked away in a treehouse, high among the canopies. Truly, this time of year adds a special type of magic to the venue.

And there you have it—some of our favorite reasons to book your wedding during this season of magic and renewal. Spring brings breathtaking beauty to the Pacific Northwest, and offers a perfect opportunity to take advantage of a quieter, more intimate season.
