Pete

Pete became excited about treehouses at age 5 when his dad built him a tree fort behind the garage of their New Jersey home. As he grew up, the carpenter and homebuilder inside could not be silenced, and with an eye to become "the treehouse guy," he embarked on a unique career path. In addition to owning TreeHouse Point & Nelson Treehouse and Supply, as well as authoring six books, his latest endeavor was hosting the hit television series, Treehouse Masters, on Animal Planet. He lives with his wife, Judy, in Fall City, WA and has three adult children with whom he happily works daily in the trees. Plus the newest addition, his first grandson!

Judy

Judy

The love of treehouses must be contagious because Judy gets as excited about the arboreal structures as the rest of her family. When she's not busy brainstorming regarding the operations of TreeHouse Point or traveling with Pete, Judy loves to cook, play soccer, and hike with her friends. She met and married Pete several decades ago and loves being mom to their three fantastic kids, three dogs, a large cat, and a bunch of chickens.

Emily

Emily arrived as the Nelson's first born when Pete and Judy were only dreaming about how they might live a life built around treehouses. Having been raised around the goings on at Nelson headquarters, Emily knows the ins and outs of the biz and specializes in reigning Pete in. When Emily isn't running all things related to her treehouse swag and supply business, Be in a Tree, she can often be found chatting loudly with Pete on her parent's front porch with her dog ToastyRoastyMunchyBun.

Wedding Officiant
Janet

Janet

As TreeHouse Point's official Officiant, Janet McIntosh has presided at close to 100 wedding ceremonies in and around the beautiful treehouses. But, she says, every couple is unique, every couple is important, and she always feels honored to be invited to preside at one of life's most joyous occasions. Whether the wedding party is a large group, or simply the couple themselves (or with, perhaps, life size cardboard kitties) there is always room for reverence, revelry and real surprises in the day!
